Where has all the time gone?

Just wanted to post a quick note to say, yes the Johnston's are alive and well.

Somehow I missed pretty much all of 2009,

well, I didn't, but the blog did.

Don't know if it will be any better in 2010, we will see.

I did want to post an updated picture of the 3 most adorable children in the world,

(well, my world)

Hearts and more Hearts

This past Sunday I got a new calling

Young Womens President.

I am soooooo excited.

I love the youth.

(don't get me wrong, I am a little overwhelmed)

But how can I stress out when I wake up to this,

Saturday morning

This is called a "heart attack".

This is just one photo (my camera blurred the others),

but there were hearts hanging in my trees,

all along the sidewalk,

on my garage,

on my door,

everywhere.

A lot of the hearts had sweet messages to me

and

these mysterious heart attackers

(wink wink KRISTA)

even made special ones for each of my children and Rob.

The even cooler thing is that these girls aren't even from my ward.

They were from the Humble Ward.

I love how the gospel brings us all together. No boundaries.

The banner says "We're Excited to Get to know YOU!

Now how could I stress out with that much love.

You girls are amazing.

Life is crazy at the Johnston's

I promise I will update as soon as I can. 

Until then enjoy and survive the storms of life with me.

Circle of Life

Yes, I was trapped in my bedroom.

Guess they were getting me back for all the years

they woke up on their birthdays

trapped in their beds. LOL

This last week has been very emotional both ups and downs.

In this one week I have experienced 3 very different stages of life.

I began the week with the death of my sweet friends 7 month old baby boy. 

That I had just held in my arms just the day before.

I celebrated my tremendously blessed life with my sweet children, mom, and Kurstin for my 39th birthday.

Then shared the excitement and joy of my nephew Glade and his wife Johnnie as we watched the sonogram showing they were having a boy.

What a week!!!

 But one thing I KNOW for sure is that 

our Heavenly Father loves us and knows the whole plan and the part we play.

And I am grateful for that knowledge.

I think so.

Victoria, I love you with all my heart. 

I know you hear this all the time but, I can't believe she is growing up so fast

12 YEARS OLD.

Another Mother of the Year Award

Ok I have done it again.....

At the beginning of January, yes 6 weeks ago,

Victoria tripped on the dog and hurt her foot/ankle.

Long story short just way later:

She has a torn muscle and it is not healing properly.

She has to wear this boot for atleast 3 weeks.

I am so glad my kids are so forgiving.

I love you Victoria.

Cute Factor

Isabella had her first dance competition on Sat. 

She was adorable.

She is the smallest and youngest in the group.

Their team competes in the Kinder-3rd grade group. 

There are 5 third graders, 4 first graders and Isabella pre-K.

(yes I am very proud and excited that she made this dance team)

She had a blast being spoiled by all the big girls and wearing make-up.

They performed to the song "I was born to entertain".

All I can say is ADORABLE

and the judges agreed. 

YEA, 1st place.
